We had been searching for someone that could replicate the 1915 spindles (balusters) we had using red oak at an affordable price. Ben (at Stiles) didn’t hesitate for a minute upon seeing the photos and dimensions and said there would be no problem in replicate in stain-grade red oak and he quoted us a price that was much more affordable. Ben was great at coordinating our request/order both on the phone and via email.

Hello Shepard!
I wanted to send you the “before and after” photos of our staircase with the newel post you custom made for me.  We LOVE it. I made use of the time I was at home during the hurricane recovery to refinish the stairs and finish the painting on the post.
