Species and Dimensions

Wood Broom and Mop handles are made in a variety of species.  From Pine to various other domestic and imported hardwood species.  Determing the right specie will depend on the type of mop or broom you need.  Typically they are available in lengths from 12” to 72” and diameters ranging from ¾” to 1-1/2”. 

Finishing and Secondary Operations

There are many finishing options for handles. Some examples of what can be provided include:

  • Plain sanded
  • Clear lacquered
  • Stained
  • Painted

The following secondary operations are also available for your handle:

  • Wood thread
  • Tenoned
  • Tapered
  • Metal threads 

In addition, handles can be provided with custom packaging and labeling options.  Since mops and broom handles are sold in bulk and production run quantities, many larger companies are looking to add their logo or to brand the product in some way.  Additionally, bar coding or other labels are required for either the handle or the packaging.
